Indifferent [:|] Not auto archiving
Reply Quote
I have it set to remove images over 1 day and if I open the program (with the /a switch, classic version of software) then it does not clear out files/folders made the last time I ran the software, which was a few months ago.

My aim for the software will eventually see it run only once a week, so running it the following week I would want it to automatically delete last weeks folder.

The auto remove option is not set to remove at disk space.

The logic for the auto-cleanup (a.k.a. archiving :) is like this:
Every one hour, after 2 minutes of inactivity, run the auto-archiver

So, try waiting for 2 minutes after you've started TimeSnapper - without any mouse / keyboard activity - and the images should be removed automatically.

You should see an entry in the log file when it starts archiving and finishes.

The log is located here: %appdata%\timesnapper\timesnapper.log

Let us know if it works out!

Cheers

Check out TimeSnapper, the automatic screenshot journal at www.timesnapper.com

It runs in the background of your computer, taking screenshots of your desktop every few seconds all week long.

TimeSnapper lets you play back your week just like a movie. Use it to improve your work habits and become more productive.

That's it. It worked when I left it for a bit after starting the software
