Hmm [^o)] Previous Comment Text Behavior Inconsistent
Reply Quote
Using version 2.7.0.2, the note text behavior seems to be inconsistent.

I have it configured to do auto-popups every half hour. Here's the scenario:

I start up Timesnapper and an auto-popup appears. I fill in the beginning of a task with some note text and click OK to create the flag.

Half an hour later, the auto-popup appears again. I switch the popup from a task to a note and I see a little yellow box with the text from the comment field in last flag so that I can easily click it and have it filled in on the note. I click the yellow box, the text appears in the comment field, and I click OK to create the note flag.

A little while later, maybe a few minutes I right-click the Timesnapper icon in the task bar and select "New Flag." The flag type that pops up is "Note" (correct) but the yellow box with my last comment isn't there.

At this point, if I click cancel to dismiss the manually created note, I can wait for the auto-popup to appear and the yellow box with my previous text will be there.

The appearance/disappearance/availability of the yellow previous-comment-text box is inconsistent. I would expect to see it whether it was a manually created flag or an auto-popup.

Yes indeed, this is inconsistent.

I'll endeavour to have this improved for the next release.
