What's the story with black screens??

Greetings
I've been using your free tool for a while and lately timesnapper started to make black snapshots!
FYI - my system is most patched win xp but with one seriouse problem: frequent shortage of GDI resources (I'm developer).
Can you please add error message dialog notifying me that snapshot failed to be taken?
The issue usually starts after several days of PC runing. Then when you go into Options dialog you get black snapshots in preview area for every file formats. Gif for instance sais 3kb.
Restart of tool helps - But I restart my PC once a week!
Please fix is asap.

Hi Anatoliy
That's a tricky problem -- and GDI may be silently failing without letting us know.
TimeSnapper includes a log file that records any errors -- could you take a look in this file and tell us if you see anything useful?
Also, sometimes we find that the video drivers for machines need to be updated, and that once they are updated, this kind of problem goes away.
