Time until timesnapper determines that computer is idle?
Reply Quote
What is the time until timesnapper determines that computer is idle for the Time in front of computer report?

For example if I take 2 minute breaks on mouse clicking. does it count that time or not?
What about 10 minutes?
Is there any way to configure this?

This depends on the capture interval.

So if you have TimeSnapper set to take capture every 5 minutes, it does it like this:

* has there been any activity within the last 5 minutes?

If yes:
=> take capture
if no:
=> don't take capture

If a capture isn't taken, that basically means you were idle.

Is that clear? Is this causing you any problems?

Of course this means you don't get very good results if you have the capture interval set to once every hour.

cheers
